Vanessa’s appreciation for SMME’s and unlocking the potential that resides in this market, from economy expansion to skills development, led her to Custom Capital as CFO and head of ESG.
With a background in Financial Institutions, DFI’s, Private Equity, Healthcare, Digital Marketing and Manufacturing, Vanessa has had operational and strategic roles in the formation and development of companies across different sizes. She is regarded as a specialist in financial and treasury management, organisational and balance sheet structuring and in driving both vertical and horizontal growth.
Vanessa holds a CA(SA), CFA (Level II), Project Management (GIBS), South African Venture Capitalist Association (GIBS) and is a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa (IODSA).
